Birches and Bluebells - Living

The living space is mainly open plan , dominated by large windows, offering 180 degree views of Mountshannon Harbour, The Tipperary Hills and Holy Island. Several areas are available within this space, which is bright and warm, and has three wood-burning stoves.

Guests have full use of the living area and are encouraged to treat the house as a home from home.

The late evening is usually devoted to sharing work or stories of the day, sitting by a warm stove in winter. Many take a stroll in the nearby forest and hills in late summer evenings, a short walk to the village to enjoy a pint with the locals or a glass of wine alfresco on the terrace.
